The Arai SK-6 Karting Helmet is with out doubt the best karting helmet on the market. This helmet features the fit and finish that all Arai helmets are known for as well as many other great features. The Arai SK-6 Karting Helmet features include positive lock shield mechanism to provide solid latching, while allowing normal operation of the shield; new shield pivot to improve aerodynamics; 3mm shield; wider eye port for increased peripheral field of view. The Arai SK-6 karting helmet also features larger intake vent toggles for easier operation and large rear vents for improved ventilation (features taken directly from GP-6(PED) helmet). The Arai SK-6 karting helmet has removable/replaceable cheek pad design which allows for custom fitting with optional thickness (15mm,20mm,25mm,30mm). The cheek pad covers are also removable to allow for easier and more thorough cleaning. The Arai SK-6 karting helmet features a newly sculpted chin bar and ridge along lower edge of shell to improve structural integrity and a rise in the shell above shoulders for added clearance.
